Breathwork involves intentional, connected breathing techniques combined with sound and movement to help the body achieve an altered state of consciousness. Through breathwork, we can explore our body, uncover stored emotions, and address aspects of ourselves that we have previously ignored, suppressed, or repressed. This process enables us to facilitate release, acceptance, and healing.
Spiritus Breathwork & Somatic Healing
There are various methods of breathwork and each technique has its own approach and intended benefits. Here at The Breathwork Connection in Margaret River, WA, we incorporate the SPIRITUS Breathwork techniques in our session. Each breath activates the Sympathetic Nervous System, facilitating the completion of the nervous system cycle, which may be disrupted by past traumas or high stress levels. Through breathwork, the body can return to a balanced state and support the healing process.

Incorporating breathwork into your daily practice can also assist in stress management, release emotional energies caused by trauma, and promote a well balanced mind, body and spirit.
The breath becomes the medicine.
What to expect?
In a breathwork session, you can anticipate a variety of physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental effects. As your nervous system unwinds, you might experience involuntary movements, such as tremors, or shaking or crying. These responses are the body’s way of releasing stored and blocked energies.
You will be guided throughout the three phases, Opening, Activation and Integration with verbal cues, shamanic music and personal touch.
Every session set with a different intention, will achieve a different experience.
Come to a breathwork session with an open heart & mind and let the breath take you where you need to be. Please allow 90 mins for each session.
